Celebrities ‘WEAR IT PINK’ to support  Breast Cancer Awareness.

I spent the day at my  Kensington Studio photographing 4 female celebrities in pink to support and raise awareness for Breast Cancer Now’s WEAR IT PINK Campaign.

Breast Cancer is the UK’s most common cancer with around 55,000 women & 370 men being diagnosed  each year .1 in 7 ‘ of women in the UK that will develop breast cancer in their lifetime in the UK .

I felt compelled to do this photoshoot in order to draw more awareness to the disease.I was delighted to be able to organise this photoshoot to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I feel my images of Alex, Joanne, & Tyla will help bring further awareness to the Breast Cancer research and care in the UK, in reaching out to more women and men but also, to help secure further donations to the charity also.

The celebrities included Joanne Clifton/Alex Murphy & Tyla Carr who donated their time to support  this amazing charity and the campaign ‘WEAR IT PINK’

Summer Kendrick, WEAR IT PINK Manager at Breast Cancer Now stated:

“We want to send a heartfelt thank you to Amanda, Alex, Chloe, Joanne, Tyla & Concorde Media for supporting Breast  Cancer Now’s WEAR IT PINK with this fabulous photo shoot. By taking part in wear it pink, you’ll be helping Breast Cancer  Now raise money to continue our vital breast cancer research and care – at a time when they have never been needed more.

“COVID-19 is having a devastating impact on breast cancer and for many months has paused our research, community  support services and much of our fundraising too. People affected by breast cancer, our nurses and scientists urgently need  your support, now more than ever before. If there was ever a time to wear it pink, that time is now. Please sign up at  wearitpink.org and wear it pink on 23 October to help us continue our vital work for anyone affected by breast cancer.”
